Sun Balm is an organic, natural skin care product to protect and nourish the body before, during, and after sun exposure. It should be reapplied every 2-3 hours and after getting wet.
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Vitamin E, Lavender Essential Oil, Eucalyptus Essential Oil.
Red Raspberry Seed Oil and Carrot Seed Oil both have a naturally high SPF that helps to protect the body from the suns harmful rays. Coconut Oil is a soothing, cooling, and eases inflamed skin. Shea Butter is moisturizing and also has a small natural SPF. Lavender and Eucalyptus are both excellent oils for replenishing the skin. Nano Zinc Oxide is used for overall skin support and as a barrier that helps limit sun damge. The non-nano means that the particles of the zinc oxide are not small enough to enter the skin or to penetrate and damage coral reefs. Studies are still ongoing concerning the effects of nano zinc oxide in the blood stream. Until those studies are more conclusive on the specific side effects of nano-particles absorbing into our skin and blood stream, it is a better choice to stick with Non-nano zinc oxide, and its better for the oceans, too!
Safe for babies, children, pregnant, and nursing mothers.
